Easy Climber Limited Lifetime Warranty

Aging in the Home Remodelers warrants the Stair Lift (“Product” or “the Product”) against defects in material or workmanship for the components set forth below and in the manner set forth below. In the event of a defect, these are your exclusive remedies.

Warranted Components:

  • Motor/gearbox
  • Rail
  • Power supply
  • Control board
  • Parts: For the original buyer (initial owner) Aging in the Home Remodelers will supply replacement parts in exchange for parts determined to be defective.

 

Labor: For a period of ninety days from the original date of installation, Aging in the Home Remodelers will, at its option, repair or replace parts determined to be defective. After the conclusion of the 90 days, Aging in the Home Remodelers will replace parts found to be defective at the then current applicable labor charge.

Aging in the Home Remodelers provides a one-year limited warranty on all remaining parts except the batteries, which carry a 30-day warranty after installation. The cost of parts and labor is covered under the warranty for the first ninety days (from installation date).

The warranty is limited to actual defects; i.e., it does not cover the cost of replacement of any parts in need of replacement as a result of normal wear and tear. The original buyer, by acceptance of the product, understands that as a condition of the warranty, the original buyer must use the product only in the manner prescribed in the Owner’s Manual. The product may not be subjected to misuse or abuse. The product is not covered under warranty for any damage due to vandalism or accidents, unauthorized modifications or alterations of the product or unauthorized third-party intervention of the product. For parts that are originally covered by the one-year warranty, the so-called spare parts, revision parts or warranty parts are covered by a standard replacement warranty that is the greater of the remaining period of the original warranty or six (6) months. The so-called spare parts, revision parts or warranty parts provided under coverage of the limited lifetime warranty remain covered by the terms and conditions of the limited lifetime warranty. The warranty period starts upon shipment of the product.

 

Conditions:

The installation has been performed by an authorized installer.
The original buyer has maintained the stair lift as recommended in the user manual.
All maintenance on the stair lift must be carried out by an authorized service technician, and a record ofwork carried out has been recorded in the Service Log provided.
The warranty is non-assignable by the original buyer, shall not inure to the benefit of any third parties, andshall be void if the product is dismantled and reinstalled in the same location, or any other location other than the initial installation.

The limited warranties shall not extend to:

(1)  Any multi-floor installations extending over more than two levels, or
(2)  Installations in any public,governmental, or quasi-governmental institutions, whether owned or operated by any federal, state or municipal agency or any building; any institution operated by any charity, religious organization; any commercial or other property open generally to the public, including any establishment covered by the public accommodation provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act or equivalent state or municipal laws; or any other building or facility other than a private residence.
